When we first opened our doors and began a business offering escape room events ON LOCATION in people’s homes and places of business, we weren’t sure whether people would love the idea or hate it. But we DID know that our own kids loved escape rooms but struggled with not being able to have escape room birthday parties because the puzzles were all too hard for a group of kids under 16 years old to complete without adult help. And we wanted to offer a better alternative – so we tailor puzzles to the age of the players to ensure everyone has fun, and we let players play until completion (not cutting off gameplay after 60 minutes) because there is joy and satisfaction for players in solving all the puzzles, and we host events on site to avoid the hassle of driving all the players back and forth and interrupting the party. And our price per player is significantly lower than at brick and mortar establishments because parties shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg for kids to have fun.
And now we are more than six years into this business and we are grateful to all the wonderful groups that we have run events for. We are especially grateful for all the events so far this year; you have helped make this our most successful year ever. And yes – we know the year isn’t over yet. We are just that grateful 😉
