Our family loves doing escape rooms!
As I suspect most escape room businesses begin, at some point we started saying to each other “We could do this!”. But the leap to quitting our jobs and launching a full fledged, full-time new business on our own was a bit too scary to commit to. And then in 2017, I set up two small escape rooms for my ten-year-old daughter’s birthday. They were a hit! Not only were all ten of the kids REALLY into the games, but they wanted to help set them up and watch their friends complete them after they had “won” (we ran the games in teams of two). Seeing their excitement was addictive. And my daughter was determined that we should find a way to make this a business. So Twisted Traps was born. Now, five years later, we remain a family-based female-run small business and are still going strong.
We can’t wait to meet you!
